I have formed a relationship with this molten material and it has shown me some of the magic in life. Feeling continually drawn to the glass like a magnet has created a lifelong conversation with this glowing force of light. The learning has become my favorite place to reside.

I have always loved making things with my hands. I found glass 30 years ago and I am still amazed by the fascinating traits it holds within itself. It is fragile yet strong. Like us. Us humans.

Glass has the ability to be broken into pieces and then healed to be stronger than ever. I have experienced this with my own body and have long passed an expiration date given. In 2018 I was not sure I would blow glass again after my neck was broken by a tumor I grew with my thoughts about myself and the world around me. It is such an amazing treasure that after being broken, our bodies, minds and spirits, like glass, can heal and be even stronger than before…ourselves closer to the truths of life. I feel so honored to get to blow glass today. I have been given a number of chances on this planet and this recent one is by far the sweetest..
